Flix Flix
Flix got into deejaying in the late nineties when he hung out with his homie Dirudi, who was into writing rap. As highschool kids they where broke most of the time, but somehow Flix managed to save some money to buy two cheap turntables and a mixer. Flix was spinning the beats, Dirudi dropped the rhymes.

Step by step it all became more serious, so Flix wanted to produce his own beats and got himself a small sampler and a Roland MC-303. They recorded their 1st demo in 1998 "Kettenslettenentetten" on audio cassette and were invited to do some gigs. While Dirudi wrote more and more lyrics, Flix kept brewing beats so in 2000 they released "Communicatie-gewetensrappen" ; their 2nd demo.

As Dirudi learned to produce his own stuff, Flix got more focussed on true deejaying and turntablism.

Stare and Flix already met each other several years before, but in 2003 they hooked up and Stare introduced him to the PressureLab crew. For Flix this was the fhirst time he could record a mixtape, and take it straight to the people.

Flix spins mainly rap, but all styles that are somehow related to hiphop(soul, funk, R&B, breakbeat, etc.) have their place in his record crates. "You can not play the same stuff over and over" he says. "On a rainy Sunday afternoon, you 'd put somethin' smooth on, if you're spinning on a party, you play stuff that gets the people dancin''.

Besides hiphop Felix also loves watching television, wasting time on Playstation, football and fine cookery. His favourite dish is a steak with potatoe chips and apple pie for dessert.
